BINDER establishes independent subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, 26 October, 2007. BINDER GmbH continues its growth in 2007 by expanding its international network bases and establishing an independent subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This marks a new milestone in the presence and commitment of BINDER in ASIA. With this establishment, dealers and customers are better served in terms of service, training and product awareness.

On 26 October, 2007, BINDER held an official ceremony to mark the opening of BINDER Sdn. Bhd, its Asia Pacific Office. We were honored to have the presence of YAB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Kadir Bin Haji Sheikh Fadzir (previously the Tourism Minister and Deputy Trade & Finance Minister prior to that), to officiate this event.

YAB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Kadir Bin Haji Sheikh Fadzir, gave a truly inspiring opening speech. Below are the excerpts from his speech:  “ I feel privileged to be associated with Binder’s opening ceremony. Binder Gmbh made a wise choice by choosing Malaysia as the Asian hub, and Binder has a friend in me, if you ever encounter any problems doing business in Malaysia, please do contact me personally, I will see that it be solved”.

Mr Peter Binder, CEO & President of Binder Gmbh, reiterated, “I am truly honored by the statement made by Tan Sri. Likewise, you have a friend in me in Germany”. After which, there was a big applause from the crowd. Close to 35 of Binders distributors from 16 countries all over Asia were present at the ceremony.

Our Director for Asia office, Mr Roland Krebs did not miss out to add, “It is a very proud day for me. I have been in Malaysia and dealing with the Asia region for the past five years under Binder. Today is very special to me, to see that Binder has achieved yet another milestone by establishing Binder Sdn. Bhd. This shows our commitment to our customers in ASIA, that we are serious in giving them the best of product and service”.
